While maintaining the form of traditional Japanese candles, we have created a shape that adds color to modern life.
This cylindrical Japanese candle is made of handmade Echizen washi paper. Only the inner part melts and the outer part remains.
The light spills out from between the patterns of the Japanese paper, and you can enjoy a different expression every hour.
Two types of scents are available, one evoking nature and plants, and the other unscented. The fragrance is discreet enough not to interfere with dining.
Japanese candles wrapped with Echizen washi paper, a traditional craft of Fukui, are both gorgeous and strong, and beautifully decorate any space, whether at home, in inns, hotels, restaurants, or any other Japanese or Western setting.
